Meet LEO

Meet LEO

Hospitality, it’s from the heart.

We come by it naturally, as they say. With our hometowns in Tennessee, hospitality is in our blood.

In the early days of our careers, we cut our teeth in the hospitality industry, serving up entertainment and events to crowds across the South in places like Orlando’s Hard Rock Café and Memphis’ famous Beale Street.

Today, we operate one of the nation’s top events and destination management companies with offices in three cities and clients around the globe. As the only ADMEI-accredited DMC in the east and west TN area, we offer a broad range of services for groups looking to hold their meeting or event in Memphis and Chattanooga.

What We Do

Our People

Powering ideas.

Having a great idea is only part of the equation in any business, but particularly in events management. One of the biggest drivers of our success is a qualified and competent team that can bring concepts to life flawlessly.

Here at LEO, our team is what sets us a part. Armed with decades of experience in the business, our principals guide and empower the LEO management staff to make decisions, execute ideas and take ownership of the outcomes.

Get to know us, then put us to work for you. Many among us are CMP and DMCP-certified staff, and all of us are ready to create an unforgettable experience for you in our hometowns.

LEO Gives

To us, it’s really quite clear. If you live, work and play in a city, you also must give.

We’re proud to boast that our company annually donates a percentage of our gross profits in charitable contributions, discounted and in-kind/pro-bono hours for organizations like the Jay Uiberall Foundation (JUF), Sculpture Fields at Montague Park (Chattanooga), ALSAC St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the National Civil Rights Museum.

We partnered with Habitat for Humanity’s Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project when it came to Memphis for a “build week”. Rolling up our sleeves and pitching in, we produced two important events for Habitat that week: The Blue Prints & Blue Jeans Women’s Luncheon & Hard Hat Tour and the SheetRock ‘n’ Roll Fundraising Dinner Evening. We even tried our hands at construction and home building—a moving experience for all.

Our own Kent Underwood serves on the board for Sculpture Fields at Montague Park. LEO is so inspired by what they do that we funded the shipment of an important work from New York to Chattanooga so that it could be added to the amazing collection of art that citizens and visitors to the area enjoy daily.

Through our corporate challenge team, 15 LEO runners participated in the St. Jude Marathon weekend, and raised over $11,000 to benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.

LEO is a founding partner and annual sponsor of the Jay Uiberall Foundation, a philanthropy formed in 2011 after the tragic death of one of our beloved vendors. In just five years, JUF has donated more than $200,000 to inner-city, underfunded programs including an after-school culinary training program for urban teens, flu shots for uninsured hospitality professionals and an annual college scholarship for a Hospitality/Tourism major. In addition to financial donations, LEO contributes more than 300 man hours annually to JUF planning and programs.
