  • Event / Convention Space

The Memphis Cook Convention Center began an expansion in late 2017. Renovation plans include updating the interior to the look and feel of a high-quality hotel and recasting the original building’s exterior with stainless steel and glass to tie in with the Cannon Center for Performing arts. In addition, the finalized plans include modernized facility amenities and expanded, versatile meeting spaces. Currently, the Convention Center, with 350,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space, is connected to everything downtown, including the newly appointed 600-room Sheraton Memphis Downtown and the The Cannon Center for the Performing Arts. Or consider the FedExForum’s Grand Lobby or AutoZone Park, perfect as a grand special event space.

  • Hotels

Memphis has room for everyone. There’s the historic Peabody Hotel, with 464 rooms and beautiful mezzanine ballroom space, the intimate and upscale Madison Hotel and River Inn at Harbor Town, and the large brand hotels such Marriott, Sheraton and Hilton, each boosting thousands of square feet in event and meeting space. And newly opened and luxuriously appointed Guest House at Graceland is fit for The King. Not to mention the thousands of rooms interspersed throughout the metro region and only minutes away from the action.

  • How to Get Here

At the geographic center of the contiguous U.S., Memphis is conveniently located for groups to gather. The Memphis International Airport is less than 15 minutes to every major convention or meeting space in the area. With almost 100 flights in and out daily, the airport is serviced by Delta, Southwest, United, Frontier, Allegient Air, GLO Air and American Airlines. Memphis International Airport has unveiled a modernization plan which will yield larger gate areas, wider corridors and more natural light, seating, moving walkways and amenities such as charging stations – as well a children’s play area, revamped lounges for military personnel, nursing mothers and hospital patients and their families – resulting in a modern, convenient, state-of-the-art airport for passengers, airlines, concessionaires and other partners.
