The Annual AutoZone National Sales Meeting is held each fall to gather over 1,800 of the company’s top field sales representatives for a series of weeklong educational sessions. It also celebrates the accomplishments of the past year and rolls out AutoZone’s strategic plan for the upcoming fiscal year.

The US’s leading retailer and distributor of automotive replacement parts hands over the keys to LEO Events for its annual National Sales Meeting to manage every detail including meeting space selection, housing and registration, transportation and logistics, destination management, brand and content management, production, event theming and environmental design.

Held each fall in Memphis at the Memphis Cook Convention Center, the NSM gathers more than 1,700 of the company’s top field representatives for a series of weeklong educational sessions, an award recognition dinner, a vendor expo and numerous events. In total, we oversee more than a dozen venues for meetings, off-site events and dinners, including seven hotels, each with on-site hospitality staff. 

Our themed evening events are interactive, usually involving games, contests and celebrity meet-and-greets. This year, participants were treated to an exclusive evening at the FedEx Forum in downtown Memphis with a customized show with the Professional Bull Rider Blue Def Velocity Tour filled with food, celebrities and pyrotechnics, including a protected in cage in the center of the arena where AutoZone execs experienced the action up close and personal. 

AutoZone is a big brand with big meeting needs and we love that because it allows LEO the opportunity to put our creativity to work finding unique solutions for creating a learning environment that is equally entertaining and memorable. This includes overcoming numerous challenges, like coordinating multiple breakouts for a variety of groups, as well as special luncheons in limited meeting space. Because of LEO’s creativity, AutoZone has made LEO their go-to-partner since 2005. Now’s that’s what we call, in the Zone!
